Lately there has been something lacking in the dating world. Although it may be a ‘first world problem’, regular dating apps have become mundane in a sense that there is no emotion, no thought – whoever swipes right the fastest wins. This lacks any sort of potential connection.

Peard looks to eliminate that with our unique algorithm using four key metrics:

Location deals with the same parameters we have all been accustom to with the past 227,000 dating apps that have been brought out - you match with people based on a location setting preference that you create.

The Credit system looks to change that routine sense of swiping until your right index finger develops arthritis and turn it into something that you must focus on.

Each time you swipe, or in the case of Peard, we ‘slide’ on a new user, you gain 1/3rd of a Credit. Once you match with a new user, to ‘unlock’ the match you must use 1 of those Credits.

Scoring and Personal Preferences. The Key Difference Maker.

‘Scoring’ is done by sliding the Pear button on the dashboard to the right or left. Sliding to the right indicates you like the person. Sliding to the left indicates you dislike them.

Scoring is what allows us to match you with what we believe is your ideal partner.

Your overall ‘score’ is based on a 1-10 scale that is created from how other users have scored your profile. Your profile will be viewed and scored about by three key criteria – Biography, Photographs and General Content.
This is then used to calculate your overall score and match you with other users within your dating pool. For example, an 8 will be able to score and match with other 8’s. This creates a more realistic probability of finding your ideal partner.
